Samvel Nikoyan, the head of the ad hoc looking into the events of March 1, told our correspondent that he had an official meeting with the former police chief Haik Harutyunyan. “I have informed the commission members about the details of the mentioned meeting but they claim that it would be good if Haik Harutyunyan participates in the commission’s session, thus I have to invite him to take part in an upcoming session,” says Samvel Nikoyan. He says that they will send an invitation to Haik Harutyunyan in mid April. Samvel Nikoyan says that it is clear to him what happened on March 1, except for the circumstances resulting in the death of the victims. In answer to a question whether they have found out who ordered to shoot at people Samvel Nikoyan said, “Do you think that there was such order? Are you sure?”
