Low consciousness determines luxurious lifestyle

Each period of history has its own code of ethics. Let’s say during the rule of Louis XIV people knew that it’s not polite to kill a moth that would run over your body while having dinner at the table. Now this manner is ridiculous and outdated. However, this situation, which is constrained to the whole world by the global crisis, assumes universal codes of behavior, which are not written down anywhere but people know those manners and follow them by instinct. The global crisis assumes certain corrections not only in the operation of various governments of countries but also correction in the way of thinking. The statisticians of Armenia find out the day-by-day increasing number of unemployed and people who apply to employment agencies. The same situation is outside the borders of Armenia. But there is a drastic difference too. In foreign countries during communication and contact it is too difficult to differentiate who’s rich, who’s poor and who’s a millionaire. The simplicity of outside appearance dominates – starting from clothes and ending with conversations. In Armenia the global crisis has even more increased the poverty of the destitute one and the great desire of the rural ones to look rich by all means. There was an interview with the richest person of the world Bill Gates placed on one of the websites. Unlike the millionaires of Armenia Bill Gates is not muscled and robust at all and has a look of an average employee of the institute of physics of the academy of science of Armenia. Unlike our rich ones he differs with another attribute – he wears glasses because his constant work with books and computers affected his eyesight. To the question of the interviewer as how he overcomes the global crisis and whether it affected his lifestyle Gates responds that he has preferred modest lifestyle both before and after the crisis. Therefore in this regard, he didn’t make too many corrections. In the opinion of the richest person of the world he finds his expenditures rational and wise and instead invests the rest in education and science. He mostly enjoys charity. The understanding and mentality of the richest and most literate people of the world don’t match with the lifestyles of the Armenian oligarchs and businessmen. As the internet websites mention Bill Gates wears optical glasses with not a very pricey frame. He cannot understand the point of wearing glasses with expensive frames. Moreover, he doesn’t understand whether there is a point to buy ties with astronautically high prices. Therefore, it’s not quite true to think that the richest people of the world spend huge amounts of money on clothes, accessories and rest. If you remember several years ago a shocking story was registered, the hero of which was the former president of the US George W. Bush. During his travel when his wrist watch was stolen the US president made a public statement and said that the watch is valuable for him only for the inscription on it and that its actual price is 50 USD. He asked the thief to return the watch without thinking too long. For those people, who don’t connect their lives with the fact of making their expensive Swiss made watches shine from TV channels, it won’t be too hard to overcome the challenges of the crisis. It means the fact of being well-bred and modest are not very bad things. Recently in the news there was information that two NA MPs flew to Dubai with their families for a rest by the plane of the former president of Armenia. Moreover, according to the publication they stayed in the most expensive hotel of the world, the seven-star Burj al Arab Hotel, where the cost for one night is 7000 Euros per person. Counting the money of the stranger is not a very good thing as ultimately the person can rest wherever he/she wants to with his/her own money. The problem is that the good literate people of Armenia don’t do those things and instead the greedy and corrupt ones dictate the rules of the game in the country. The automobile escort follows the oligarchs all the time. The luxurious automobile cars and tasteless lifestyle of our oligarchs speaks of the illiteracy level of the rich ones. In general the imitation of luxury penetrated everywhere and especially show business. It’s only enough to watch the videos of our singers with flashy cars and clothes. Singer Ruzan Avetikyan sings one of the songs about Armenia. This is the plot of the clip – the singer with shiny and expensive outfit returns to Yerevan, gets into her similarly expensive car parked near Zvartnots airport and travels in Armenia. As it was expected she of course meets absolutely happy people – soldiers guarding the borders of the country, happy villagers cultivating the land, etc. Everybody is happy. In this case Bender would say, “So happy and in freedom?” By the way the prime minister of Armenia on the day of his appointment said that the government will have to bring certain change in the lifestyles of oligarchs and wealthy businessmen. Judging from the results it happened. If in past the oligarchs would travel by business class now they travel by the president’s airplane and do it at the time when the president, prime minister were convincing the chairmen of parties not to leave the government alone when facing the challenges of the global crisis.
