On February 25 the first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan and representative of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Zurabyan met with the special commissioner for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby, the ambassador of Poland to Armenia Mr. Tomas Knothe, the Head of delegation of the European Commission to Armenia Mr. Raul de Lutzenberger, the political adviser of the EU Yerevan Office Andrey Didenko. This info was distributed by the ANC office. In the course of the meeting the ways of overcoming the political crisis of the country were discussed. The Armenian National Congress reiterated its willingness to negotiate with the government when all the political prisoners are released and the prosecution towards the representatives of the opposition in connection with the events of February and March of 2008 is stopped.
