PA faction representative Naira Zohrabyan told Mediamax news agency concerning the Azeri president’s office foreign relations department head Novruz Mamedov’s announcement saying that “the Armenian president was not brave enough to participate in meetings and discussions of important issues in participation with the Azeri president in the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos” that a person who makes such announcement is uncivilized. “It seems that there are new tendencies inherited by the Azeri officials, which is that after each meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan they are making announcements concerning the behavior and agenda of Armenia’s president. The proof of this tendency is the speech of Novruz Mamedov in the media. Let’s not talk about the habit of interpreting the behavior of other people and introducing their wishes as the reality, but it shows that such people are totally uncivilized and the mentioned official misinterpreted the agenda of Armenia’s president. It is more important to pay attention to the fact that with this action Mamedov shows to everyone that he has weaknesses and psychological feeling of a loser that dominates in the president’s office of Azerbaijan. Well, we can understand his ambitions to console the leader of the country, which lost during its initiated aggression against Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh. I hope that hence the Azeri president’s office people will be busy with their job and direct responsibilities and Mr. Mamedov will not represent his leader and him in a poor manner any more,” said N. Zohrabyan. Concerning the Azeri delegates’ announcements at the PACE she said, “Azerbaijan is becoming a sultanate slowly”. She says that the EU delegates are already tired of the continuous critics on part of their Azeri counterparts. “The speeches of Azeri delegates Hajieva and Seidov are moans from a country, which is becoming a sultanate through nominating the president for third term based on the Constitution,” said N. Zohrabyan.
