On Saturday the Armenian Revolutionary Federation organized a fundraising in Dubai and collected five million dollar. This sum is higher than the sums raised in 2001 in Geneva and in 2005 in Paris. The international secretariat of the ARF informs that over 160 people from Armenia, Europe, Middle East and Russia participated in the fundraising event. Over two hundred fifty people donated money. During the fundraising event the ARF representatives form Armenia and other countries made speeches justifying the needs of fundraising. They said they need the money for “unity” and other beautiful purposes.
