Armenian, Russian and Georgian businessmen must take part in the reconstruction works of the Abkhazian part of the railway. Yesterday the RF transportation minister Igor Levitin made an announcement about this. According to him, they are going to examine the Abkhazian part of the railway, find out what kind of reconstructions have to be done and will finish this work at the end of October. Speaking about the main Georgian requirement concerning returning of the refugees in case of calling off the blockade, Levitin noted, that Russia intended to ask the Georgian government not to connect the issue of returning of the refugees with this reconstruction: “Otherwise the railway will never be reconstructed. I think Georgia understands this.” It is worth to mention, that Serj Sargsyan has noted, that Georgia had agreed to exploit the Abkhazian part of the railway.
