The owner of Troyka Dialogue company’s controlling shares, Ruben Vardanyan has sold his stocks to Standard Bank from South Africa. This information was published by Vedomosti newspaper, according to which the Standard Bank estimated the 30% share of the control packet interest at $150-200. The president of Troyka Dialogue board of directors, the officials and representatives of the Standard Bank refused to provide any comments. “Now investment banks are estimated according to the own capital, which means that the price of the Troyka Dialogue is $500 mln,” said Viktor Chetverikov. The mentioned Russian newspaper writes that in 2007 Ruben Vardanyan said that he had stopped the negotiations on selling the Troyka Dialogue company. There were other possible buyers such as JPMorgan, VTB and Credit Suisse companies, which suggested around $ 2,5-3 billion.
