Yesterday the second instance court delayed the consideration of the appeals of Republic party board member, former deputy minister of state incomes Smbat Ayvazyan’s lawyers. The previous session of the court did not take place because of bad health conditions of Ayvazyan. This time it was again delayed due to Ayvazyan’s disrespect to the court. As during the past months, this time Smbat Ayvazyan did not stand up when the judge entered the court session hall. Now it is clear that the judges have remembered about their dignity after the example of “state order” and the case with the judge in charge of the Case of Seven Mnatsakan Martirosyan. The latter has delayed the court proceedings for five times due to the mentioned reason and definitely the authorities have decided to make this practice a legal norm. If this process continues, the proceedings of all political prisoners may be delayed forever because none of them respects the court and none of them stands up.
