The chairman of Politics foundation, Russian citizen Vyacheslav Nikonov says that he thinks that the resolution signed by the three presidents in Moscow on November 2 gives an opportunity but does not guarantee the settlement of Karabakh conflict. “The problem is that the conflict of Karabakh is a very difficult conflict and even it is hard to imagine its settlement theoretically. Accordingly the resolution signed in Moscow is an opportunity which can be realized or not,” said Nikonov. He believes that the settlement of the conflict depends on all parties, including the OSCE MG, Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. “Certainly the dynamics of the conflict settlement does not inspire hopes so much because the resolution was not followed by certain steps and actions. However nothing serious has happened and the parties of the conflict are still in the same positions,” he said.
