Impossible to wait

It is more than a month that Bjni mineral water company does not work. On October 10 the Administrative Court of Armenia made a decision to confiscate over 4 billion dram from the company. Later, on October 23 the justice ministry department of mandatory fulfillment of judicial acts confiscated the vehicles of the company, closed down the depots and blocked the bank accounts.

The lawyer of Bjni Mineral Water company Ara Zohrabyan informed radio Liberty that the administrative court rejected the company’s appeal to confiscate 40% of the financial incomes from trade of the company’s properties and products, which, according to the lawyer, would let the company continue operating, use the other 60% and pay salaries, current expenses, judicial and lawyers’ fees, as well as taxes. The latter also says that they have appealed the court decision to the upper instance court but it has not been proceeded yet. “The confiscation procedures have already started and the results are already tragic for the company. I think that it is possible to wait for the upper instance court and see what their decision is. Instead of that the company is being annihilated.” The employees of the company have decided to organize a demonstration in Yerevan but the city administration office of Yerevan did not allow. Reminder: Bjni company belongs to MP Khachatur Sukiasyan, who is being searched in the framework of the criminal case of the March 1-2 events.
