Yesterday during his interview to the Radio Liberty the cameraman of the A1+ Hovsep Hovsepyan (who filmed the bloodshed of March 1) said that the liquid showed in his video filmed on March 1 at the crossroads of Paronyan-Lusavorich is real blood. “I filmed these scenes in the evening of March 1 at about 10:20. That part of the street was fully rinsed in blood,” told Hovsepyan and added that it is blood for sure as he had walked awhile in it to find a light spot to film it. “There were some bones there, bullets of a machine gun in the blood. If I am not mistaken there was even a bullet shell of a hunter’s rifle. I have seen these scenes with my eyes. I filmed it all. Then we went to Myasnikyan’s statue. There the peaceful rally was continuing; at 10:30 they declared a state of emergency and we went back to the editorial house,” he said. Hovsepyan said the following about the details of these scenes, “I have seen it after everything was done. I was present at the time they had been doing that. Therefore I cannot say whether the bones are human or of animal. That jaw looked like a human one. That’s how much I can say. I have lived in the village for quite long and haven’t seen a jaw like that, which would belong to a sheep. Neither can I say that these jaws were human. But there was certain similarity.” As of the gunshots Hovsepyan said, “gunshots were heard all the time. The gunshots are seen in those scenes too, how the police shoot in the air. All these scenes exist.” To the question whether he would agree to participate in the session of the ad hoc commission on the investigation of the March 1 events and tell them what he saw on that day Hovsepyan said, “Why not. I can tell them what I told you now. I don’t have any problem with that. I can neither exaggerate nor hide anything. I saw what I saw.” Reminder: The main forensic doctor of Armenia Shota Vardanyan expressed his opinion about Hovsepyan’s scenes recently and said that the bones in the scenes belong to pigs and the red liquid is not blood.
