On the background of the tension, which dominated in the past months, the “brainwashing” process of the society remained slightly imperceptible. The government, which has been bragging about the non-stop 10-year economic growth, tiger-like leap in economy, now seems to suffice themselves with only visions of the “Armenian miracle” or “Armenian world.” Even the 3.5 billion state budget is not being advertised; no evaluation is heard about how unprecedented the budget is. In fact, the reason is not that our government realized that there is no need to lie to the society. The reason is that even in the economy sector the methods of falsifications have faded out. The international structures, which collaborate with Armenia, also realized that. For example, yesterdays’ report released by the International Monetary Fund states that the rates of the economic growth of Armenia will decrease for the coming several years. For 2009 the IMF forecasts 9% GDP growth; for 2013 the index will reduce to 6%. Thus, the legend of dual-digit economic growth, which was provided due to the artificially stimulated construction, vanishes rapidly. The leaping “Caucasian tiger” weakens due to that “growth.”
