Former foreign affairs minister Vardan Oskanyan says that the events of March 1 have seriously affected Armenia’s international reputation. He says that it will still stay affected unless the opposition activists and their loyalists are not released. Vardan Oskanyan says that he hopes the government of Armenia will give a place to their petitions and will release those people. “Now there is a window for recovering the reputation of Armenia, and I hope the government will use that opportunity,” he said during his press conference and added that he hoped president Serzh Sargsyan would come up with a speech at the parliament to grant amnesty.
