Journalists asked questions to former president Robert Kocharyan during the opening of the Saralanj highway and wandered what he thinks about the announcements of some people that “the nation should get rid of Kocharyan’s heritage”. “It is impossible to get rid of that heritage because it is first of all the developed Republic of Armenia, improved Yerevan, Gyumri city which is being reconstructed and improved too, the North Avenue, this highway that we are standing on, also the system of state service which has become stabile due to my tenure, which is doing its duty professionally. It is not easy to get rid of all these things. If there are people who want to get rid of those things, they must ruin them,” said Robert Kocharyan. In answer to a question about his future plans Kocharyan said that even though it is the main topic of the common gossip but if he decides to return to politics he will inform about it in advance. He said that he had not got tired of freedom yet. “It is the second time I have tie on me during the past six months,” he said.
