“I believe that during these 6 months the authorities will perform all the requirements of the resolution in order not to let the Armenian delegation be deprived of the voting right in the January session,” said PA faction member Aram Safaryan before the PACE adopted the final resolution. The governmental political powers are happy for the fact that the PACE has decided to prolong the term of performing the 1609 resolution requirements. “This time besides being happy and celebrating, the authorities of Armenia should also understand that the settlement of the Karabakh conflict in favor of Armenia is again undermined. This fact will serve against the authorities in order to make them compromise. The president of Armenia will not be free in actions because he will be reminded about the unsatisfactory state of Armenian democracy. It is not by chance that in one of the documents that appreciate the political will of the Armenian government and in the other document write definitions that are very sensitive in terms of the conflict settlement.” Says member of Heritage faction Stepan Safaryan.
