On May 30 the son of the President of France Nicolas Sarcozy, Jean Sarcozy visited Plessis-Robinson. The latter is currently in active politics. The latter in February nominated his candidacy from the ticket of the governing party of France, the UMP in the local government elections of Neyi-syur-Sen town of Paris. However, he quit this idea after a while. By the way, the President of France Sarcozy has started his political career from that town. At present Jean Sarcozy is member of the governing board of Hauts-de-Seine and chairman of the committee on transport. Let us remind that the chairman of the governing board of Hauts-de-Seine is the MP of the UMP Patrick Devedjian. The mayor of Plessis-Robinson Philippe Pemezec introduced his largest urban project to Jean Sarcozy and Hovhannes Shahinyan, which is outstanding with its architectural classic designs and new environment. They all visited the food market of the town, the reconstruction of which was completed at the end of 2007. They discussed the possible ways of Armenian-French programs as well as the future deeds of Plessis-Robinson and Arabkir in 2008. Jean Sarcozy informed that Patrick Devedjian is initiating an establishment of a foundation, the main goal of which will be providing support to Armenia and implementation of joint programs. Shahinyan invited Jean Sarcozy to Armenia in July together with the delegation of Pemezec. Sarcozy accepted the invitation.
