Moscow worries that constructing radio-location stations in Azerbaijan
may be the first phase and that American mobile troops can be stationed
there after the upcoming Azeri parliamentary elections in November.
According to “Echo” newspaper, Russia is going to react to this by
applying a visa system for Azerbaijan and making economic sanctions
against it. It is worth to mention, that at the end of last week the US
Embassy in Baku approved the information about the construction of two
radio-location stations in the territory of Azerbaijan. One of the
stations is going to be built on the border with Iran in Astara, and
the other one – in the Northern territory of Azerbaijan.
