The last film of the Canadian-Armenian filmmaker Atom Egoyan, named “Admiration” is included among the 19 films, which will be competing in the film festival of the Cannes. The film is from drama genre about young people, who are trying to socialize with each other via modern means of communication, specifically through internet and SMS. Ultimately the young people succeed in establishing an online community for young people to communicate with each other. They start to believe in tragedy, which never took place. Egoyan’s wife Arsine Khanjian also starred in the movie. This is the 11th movie of the filmmaker submitted for an Oscar prize. The movie festival will be held on May 14-25.
