The ex-leader of the “Tseghakron” (Ethno-religion) Party, Shant Harutyunyan, was arrested near the “Kazerok” cafe at about 8:00-8:30 p.m. on April 10. The NSS told the Radio Liberty reporter that Harutyunyan was arrested in the framework of the case with the Special Investgatvie Bureu. Shant Harutyunyan’s friends say he did not participate in the recent events and did not affiliate with any political force. However, according to the media on March 1 Harutyunyan made a speech in front of people gathered near the French Embassy.
