The police department of Echmiadzin city received a letter from citizen Ara Marukyan on April 6 claiming that on the same day at 6:30 p.m. Manvel Grigoryan (former deputy defense minister) and his assistant Zohrab Galstyan threatened to kill him and his family members. According to the spokeswoman of the prosecutor’s office Sona Truzyan, a criminal case has been launched by the general investigation board of the police and an investigation is in process to verify the information contained in the mentioned letter.
