The Ago monitoring group of the Euro Union Ministers’ committee, which visited Armenia on March 29, has proposed a draft of suggestions consisting of six points to the authorities and opposition powers of Armenia for the purpose of overcoming the ongoing situation in Armenia through political means. Yesterday the chairman of the Ago group Per Sjorgen published those points during an interview organized by FM Vardan Oskanyan and him. The Ago group is suggesting to set the political detainees free and institute unbiased “national investigation” of the March 1 events. The head of the group said that the Venice commission had some disagreements with the new law on rallies, demonstrations, meetings and gatherings. Also the EU Ministers’ committee monitoring group has called on the Armenian authorities and opposition to start debates without preconditions.
