Residents of Vanatur Village, Kotayk Marz, held a protest action yesterday in defense of MP Sasun Mikaelyan. They demand an immediate release of the Armenian MP, who was arrested on March 12. According to the RFL dozens of hundred of people participated in the protest. “The police didn’t hinder the protestors,” informs the RFL. Let us remember that he was immediately charged with organizing “mass riots” and attempting to overthrow the government by violating the constitutional order.
