Yesterday the NSS made a statement, according to which the NSS officers found weapon and arms in the premises of Sos Gevorgyan, nephew of MP Sasun Mikaelyan, who was arrested on March 12. According to the National Security Service press center report, “as a result of the operative-investigative activities in the framework of the criminal case levied because of the mass disorder of March 1 in Yerevan in the cattle farm located near the house of Sos Sureni Gevorgyan, born in 1974, resident of Hrazdan, relative of the MP Sasun Mikaelyan, arrested on March 12 one hand-made gun, one rifle with a shortened barrel, 29 hunters’ bullets, pistol of Magnum model and in total 111 bullets of TOZ rifle as well as one silent bullet of 38 caliber was found. In the basement of the semi-constructed building the officers found one hunter’s rifle with 15 bullets as well as weed-like green mass in big and small sacks.” The confiscated stuff was sent to an expertise. Sos Gevorgyan had been arrested since March 3 based on the accusations brought up by 235 and 300 articles of the RA Criminal Code (illegal weapons and attempts to occupy power through illegal methods).
