“At present certain people express words in order excite the crowd and lead them. This may create an aggressive crowd and lose control over things,” stated political scientist Alexander Manasyan during yesterday’s press conference by adding that all the technologies that are used now lead to such a situation. According to Manasyan the fact that the opposition refuses dialog implies signs of “aggressiveness”. “I don’t know if they want it or not but the whole process shows that they avoid,” said Manasyan and mentioned that the slogans they make don’t imply any wise political message. “From the rostrum of the rally they make promises, which are often unrealistic, tempting or words, which only degrade their opponents. It’s impossible to find any ideological grounds in their words,” he noted. In Manasyan’s words many RA parties don’t have anything common with the current political situation. According to him there are two ways of overcoming this. The first method implies turbulence and instability. The other way is the quiet and peaceful solution and a step forward for Armenia. “Let is be a peaceful and gradual development as no one knows what turbulence can lead us to,” Manasyan said.
