The chairman of the board of directors of the Armenian Assembly of America Hrayr Hovnanyan has sent a congratulation letter to Serzh Sargsyan on his victory during the recent presidential election. The congratulation letters reads, “In the name of the Armenian Assembly of America board of directors, members and staff we are sincerely congratulating you. Please accept our best wishes and support at this time, when Armenia is entering a new historical phase. Your experience obtained during the last 20 years in different positions is very exclusive and I believe you will use your experience in a manner to help the Armenian people have a country which we can be proud of. As we know, during the last 20 years the Armenian Assembly has served for the Armenian people to establish and develop relations with the executive and legislative branches of our government. The only purpose is the creation and developing Armenia-USA strong and fruitful cooperation. We are looking forward to continuing the cooperation with you”. Yesterday the president of Bulgaria Georgi Prvanov congratulated Serzh Sargsyan as well. “Let me express my belief that the traditional cooperation and mutually beneficial relations between Bulgaria and Armenia will continue in an environment of mutual trust and understanding in favor of developing our countries and prospering our societies”. The president of Greece Carolos Populias and the king of Marocco Muhammed the VI have congratulated Serzh Sargsyan as well.
