The citizens of Armenia, who have been possessing and using property, which is not privatized will from now on have the right to privatize it. This statement was made by the Mayor of Yerevan Yervand Zakharyan. And the decree was issued by the Prime Minister of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. A special time schedule was prepared for the citizens of all the communities of Yerevan. In 2008-2009 all the procedures of privatization, measurement, registration and property right recovery will be completed for all the premises and buildings of the administrative territory of Yerevan. According to the order of the RA Prime Minister the property right of certain citizens were also validated. According to the RA government decision the illegally privatized and alienated territories used for state needs will be alienated on behalf of the latter. This process will be over by December 31 2009.
