Yesterday the first instance court of Aragatsotn in the result of the close-door trial remanded in pre-trial custody on Friday pending investigation into the alleged assault of Zhora and Mkrtich Sapeyan, Hayk Gevorgyan and Tigran Baghdasaryan. They were arrested for beating Sargis Karapetyan during Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s rally in Talin on January 29. One of the arrested people, Zhora Sapeyan is the head of Ter-Petrosyan’s campaign office in Talin. Others are members of the campaign office. The court trial determined their actions as hooliganism. The court trial took very short.
