For the first time ever,
genocide and crimes against humanity have been included in Turkey’s criminal code. According to “ArmenPress”, by
the suggestion of both the “Artarutyun yev Zargatsum”(Justice and Development)
and opposing popular republican political parties, Turkey’s parliament has decided to include the
criminal acts by making some amendments to the articles to make them correspond
to official international standards.
