Ready to be judged

Presidential candidate Levon Ter-Petrosyan says that in case of being elected he will find out how Kocharyan could get a document certifying that he had been a permanent resident of Armenia during the past ten years in 1998. Journalists have asked the head of the police passports and visas department, Alvina Zakaryan, who was in charge of issuing that document to the existing president, whether she is not afraid that she may be punished for illegal actions. Answering to this question Alvina Zakaryan said that she was happy to see that Ter-Petrosyan believes in his victory and is ready to punish those people who have made electoral violations. “However, I don’t know whether I will be judged or no. We will see. I am working with the law and I am following the law. If they find me guilty in a law violation, I am ready to be judged based on the law,” she said.
