During his interview to the Novosti Armenia the head of the OSCE mission in Armenia Sergey Kapinos said that the reasons of not conducting exit polls during Armenia’s presidential elections are objective. “As much as I know the issue of the exit polls have been discussed and didn’t receive enough support because of a number of objective reasons,” he said and added that this decision was mainly made because there wasn’t clear understanding of who would be in charge of the exit polls, which according to him is an important issue. Let’s remember that till now when it became clear that there won’t be any exit polls the director of the Armenian Sociological Association Gevorg Poghosyan stated that most probably his association would be conducting the exit polls.
