How does the Russian capital feel?

From 1991 to October, 2007 the Russian investment made up one billion dollars in the real sector of the Armenian economy, which makes up one third of the foreign investment in the Armenian economy, Prime Minister of Armenia and the Co-chair of Armenian-Russian Economic Cooperation Intergovernmental Committee Serzh Sargsyan, told in Yerevan during the Armenian-Russian Economic Forum. He said the Russian capital ”feels at home” in Armenia. In 2007, 852 enterprises with Russian capital operate in Armenia. ”This is a serious indicator for our not big economy,” Sargsyan said. The prime minister believes the deepening of the Armenian-Russian economic cooperation may contribute to stable and dynamic development of the Armenian economy. According to the Transport Minister of Russia Igor Levitin also spoke about Russian investments in Armenia’s major sectors-energy, transport, mining and banking. “The Russian side is ready to make serious investments in the search of uranium reserves in Armenia by conducing to the increase of the current reserves of the current atomic station and construction of the energy block,” he said. The Russian minister urged Armenian companies manufacturing building materials not to miss their chance and take part in construction of sporting facilities for southern Russian city of Sochi that will host 2014 Winter Olympic games. It was also agreed to produce Lada cars in Armenia.
