During the recent years the RA officials were happily speaking about the economic index publicized by the Heritage Foundation, where Armenia occupies the 28th place. However that report also speaks about something, which should originate sadness instead of happiness. “Since 1988, Armenia, a former Soviet republic, has been engaged in a prolonged conflict with neighboring Azerbaijan, occupying Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh region and adjacent lands.” Of course they haven’t said anything about this on TV. However, the authorized bodies should have read the whole report. By the way, the same formulation was in the previous report. We tried to find out whether the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs has somehow responded to that. As a response to our question the FM Spokesman Vladimir Karapetyan ensured that they have already sent a complaint note to the authors of the report. So they did during the issue of the last report. The interesting thing is that none of us has ever heard of anything like that on Haylur. Perhaps the happiness originated by the 28th place makes the officials oblivious about the sad statements.
