RA Presidential candidates Aram Karapetyan and Raffi Hovhannisian were deprived of the opportunity to run because Karapetyan was refused to be handed with necessary documents about his 10-year permanent residence in Armenia and Hovhannisian was refused to be handed with a certificate on his 10-year citizenship of RA. No matter how surprising it is the chairperson of the People’s Party and the President of ALM Tigran Karapetyan received those documents. The problem is that the biography of Karapetyan refers that he hasn’t lived in Armenia permanently for 10 years because till the end of 2001 he used to live in Volgograd and was the head of his “Alternative news network”. We can only assume how Karapetyan succeeded in simultaneously living both in Armenia and Russia and why he was given those documents.
