Collision is inevitable

During his interview to A1+ the former Advisor to the President of NKR, candidate of Armenian Presidential elections Arman Melikyan said that he welcomed Ter-Petrosyan’s nomination as a presidential candidate. Meanwhile he thinks that at present there is no presidential candidate, who will be able to solve two crucial issues – resolution of NKR conflict and fight against corruption. Melikyan believes that the conflict between the poles formed around Ter-Petrosyan and Sargsyan is inevitable. He hasn’t yet decided who he is going to endorse in the second round of elections, however expressed an opinion that the process of elections will be determined prior to elections. And what is his opinion about the mutual accusations of the two main candidates, comprehension of the word “instrument”, refusal to register Aram Karapetyan as a presidential candidate and other issues? As a response Melikyan said, “Kocharyan’s statements are hilarious and very specific. This is the reality, which we should take into account. I am sorry but those confirm my doubts. In the beginning of the 90s I was in Tajikistan in the peacekeeping delegation and have witnessed how revolutions are culminated. But the civil war took away the lives of 100 thousand people and that’s not funny any more.”
