Yesterday “Rule of Law” party held a special congress, during which Arthur Baghdasaryan answered to a question why he didn’t support Levon Ter-Petrosyan and had decided to run for president in 2008 and said, “Not only due to the fact that we don’t think there is cleptocracy in the country, but appreciating the role of Levon Ter-Petrosyan in building our state, we are against the destruction of the state system totally. We have gained independence and built a state, good or bad, which flag flies in many countries of the world”. He also said that even they hadn’t joined with anyone, they were ready to support any healthy powers.
