Yesterday almost all deputies were disappointed about the possible appointment of “Prosperous Armenia” party faction member Arevik Petrosyan in vice speaker’s position. Many deputies think that she is an undiscovered Dashnak (she was included in the ARF proportional list during the elections of 2003) and say that there is no former Dashnak, thus it is not excluded that many of them may vote against her during the secret vote. Yesterday the deputies were joking that if Alvard Petrosyan were elected as vice speaker, NA speaker Tigran Torosyan would have some wishes all the time when sitting between two Dashnaks.
