“The environment of criticism and hatred in politics will not bring anything good to our country. Competition should proceed not with aggressive criticism and hatred but through concrete platforms. Only that way our country can benefit,” during his interview to A1+ mentioned NA MP Victor Dallakyan when adverted to the statements of the first President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan. This is how Dallakyan assessed the fact of Ter-Petrosyan’s nomination, “This means that he has serious intentions and his participation may create serious competition among other presidential candidates. The past experience of our former President, his role in the establishment of independence with both negative and positive sides, show that he can become a serious competitor and a certain pole may be formed around him.”
