New activities of estimating the construction of the HES of Meghri on Arax river are being conducted. According to the RA Minister of Energy, Armen Movsisyan it is important to re-assess because the price of the constuction materials has increased. In particular, the price of colored metals has increased about three times. According to his preliminary assessment the construction may cost 200 million USD. The HES of Meghri will have a 150 M/Watt power and the annual product will be 800-850 kilowatt hours.
