“The number of the people present at rallies doesn’t decide anything. We have also been opposition in past and very often one gets confused by the number of the rally participants hoping that if many people show up the next day the government will change. At the time when people were screaming “Levon, go away!” over 200.000 people gathered on Baghramyan street but the government didn’t resign. Besides that I think the period when in the results of rallies government changes, has passed already. There are civilized methods and I think everybody has opportunities. Many people showed up at Ter-Petrosyan’s rally not because they like him so much but because they don’t,” stated the head of ARF Parliamentary faction, Hrair Karapetyan when answering the question about October 26 rally.
