As we have numerously informed, the Embassy of Great Britain in Armenia has applied to the Institutional Integrity Department of the World Bank and the Serious Fraud Office of London in connection with the statements concerning violations in the first project of water supply system development of Yerevan. The Ambassador of Great Britain to Armenia, Anthony Cantor, during his conversation with our reporter, did not refute that his country is concerned about that issue. “The problem is not the fact that allegations have been brought by British citizen Bruce Tasker. The problem is that allegations have been brought against a citizen of Great Britain,” said Ambassador Anthony Cantor. To note, British engineer Bruce Tasker accuses the World Bank in violations. During the implementation period of the first project for developing the water supply system of Yerevan the head of the WB Yerevan office was Roger Robinson, who is a citizen of Great Britain.
