Recently the Armenian and Russian media publicized information, by which several hundred famous representatives of the science, culture, business and NGO sectors have formed a Civil Movement. According to our information among the initiators of this movement are included the owner of the “Troyka Dialog” company, Ruben Vardanyan, chairman of the People’s Party, Tigran Karapetyan, chairman of the Alliance Party, Samvel Babayan, deputy-chair of the National Unity Party Alexan Karapetyan, former Minister of Culture appointed by the Legal State quota Hovik Hoveyan, famous Dashnak liberation warrior “Marshall”, from among intelligentsia writer and publicist Aghasi Ayvazyan, filmmaker Ruben Gevorgyants as well as boxer Israel Hakobkokhyan. We were not able to find out in what format the meetings of the Movement are going to be held or what the goals of the Movement are. However our sources persist that the initiators of the Movement were able to unite that many people of different sectors and ideologies and especially those intelligentsia representatives, who have lately isolated themselves from the civil-political processes of Armenia.
