During his interview to 168-Zham newspaper RA Minister of Energy, Armen Movsisyan announced that the Nairit Factory can hardly consume its produced rubber in the European market at 3000 USD per ton. He said that in the international market only Dupont rubber producing company is able to consume its product at 5000 USD per ton and that our production cannot compete with world leaders. Let’s also mention that according to the contract signed on March 5, 2007 between Nairit’s owner Raynoville Property LTD and Polish SAWEX company the Polish company bought the rubber at 3180 USD per ton or at 4400 USD because of the devaluing rate of the USD. And so Raynoville has only paid 2750 dollars to the factory for the same transaction. It turns out that the mediator company receives 1650 USD from this transaction. According to our information the rubber from Nairit was bought at its net price.
