No personal animosity

“I will try to love and cuddle those people who have hurt us,” the chairman of the National Unit party, Artashes Geghamyan said in a press conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of National Unity Party. “I don’t have personal animosity to Serzh Sargsyan or Robert Kocharyan and I have told everyone let’s discuss how to take the country out of crisis,” he said as a response to the accusations of the opposition, who have said that Geghamyan wishes to include Kocharyan and Sargsyan in the opposition format discussions. Hence, in his party’s conference Geghamyan did not give a definite answer to the question on nomination for the upcoming presidential election. He assured that he would answer that question in November after the Presidium Session of the party. “I don’t know what others needs but we need secure and safe Armenia,” Geghamyan told the journalists after the conference. To the question whether on that track the National Unity would ever decide to support Serzh Sargsyan during the presidential run Geghamyan said, “The road to “powerful” Armenia is not connected with who I sin charge of power. It depends on the National Unity. If any citizen, who is able to convince us of his commitment to this principle, we will surely have our support.”
