The reasons of the dismissal of the former deputy-head of the National Security Service of Armenia, Grigor Harutyunyan, who was dismissed by the decree of the RA President Robert Kocharyan, were not mentioned. Perhaps the reason is that according to our sources the President’s decree wouldn’t possibly give the reasons why Harutyunyan was dismissed. The reason is that the mentioned official has been occupied by banana importation and has serious issues with tax and customs bodies because of that. “Catherine” company, which is in support of Harutyunyan, registered the banana importation in Armenia in order to later export the banana to third world countries, due to which the company exempt from paying taxes. According to our information due to this machination about 2 million USD was not paid to the RA budget. Shortly said Harutyunyan was fired for making Armenia a banana exporter country.
