On the occasion of the 10-year anniversary of ArmRusGazard company world famous musician, guitar player Al Di Meola visited Armenia. He is one of the most famous guitar players of the world and plays Fusion style music, which unites the Spanish Flamenco, Jazz and Brazilian melodies. “I have many Armenian friends. They have told me a lot about Armenia. I had a great wish to see this country with my own eyes. Although I have been only a day in Armenia I have great impression about the country. It’s a special day for me because I have to play here for the first time,” he mentioned yesterday. Jivan Gasparyan and Arto Tunchboyachian have also performed during the concert organized in the Republic Square. “Due to Arto very interesting melodies entered into our music,” said Meola. Recently a Spanish tourist has stopped by at our newspaper office and was looking for the CDs and placards of Arto and Jivan Gasparyan. Their music has brought the Spanish tourist to Armenia. Meola has also been informed about Armenia thanks to his musician friends.
