Emin Samsonich and the trout
Yesterday was question and answer session at the National Assembly – MPs vs. Government. 32 MPs have been in line to ask questions to the government officials out of all the members of the Parliament present at the session. Many of them didn’t even have the chance to do so. Also, this Q&A was the first time for Serzh Sargsyan as chairman of the government cabinet. A few minutes after the launch of the session NA Speaker Tigran Torosyan said that the sequence of MPs has been confused and that the next question is going to be asked by Vladimir Badalyan instead of the scheduled Sourik Poghosyan. According to Torosyan Badalyan has pressed the button of his neighbor by mistake (perhaps a habit). NA Deputy Sasoun Michaelyan’s question related to urban development but he mentioned that as the minister is fairly new it would be more expedient if the question was answered by deputy Prime Minister, Hovik Abrahamyan. “It is a great honor for me to ask me answer the question,” this is how Abrahamyan started his answer. “For me it’s also honor for you to answer my question,” responded Michaelyan. Prosperous Armenia MP Goharik Yenokyan was very interested in the exportation issue of fish trout from Armenia. Agriculture Minister Davit Lokyan informed her that in order to organize trout exportation it’s necessary to go through Emil Samsonich’s lab.
