In Armenia the days of “Russian Words” have been launched and a group of 80 Russian intelligentsia representatives have visited Yerevan. The group is headed by Victor Krivopuskov. He has mentioned that the delegation has visited Armenia not with empty hands. They have brought books with them, which are aimed at destroying the information vacuum between the two states after the collapse of the USSR. The delegation includes writer, expert of Armenian studies, Kim Bakshi, actors Vasili Lanovoy, Nikolay Zolotukhin and other writers and journalists. A cooperation contract was signed between the Russian and Armenian Houses of Writers. Events of spreading Russian language will be held in Vanadzor, Gyumri and Stepanakert.
