The prime minister has issued an order concerning the recent decision of the RA government to increase the stipends by 60% up to AMD20.000 a month, which directs the RA minister of economy and finances, Vardan Khachatryan to re-calculate the budget flows and find ways to provide extra resources in the budget of 2008 to increase the median monthly stipend over the level of the poverty line. The authorities forecast that the poverty line will make about AMD21.000 in 2008.
