Yesterday at about 3:00 p.m. the rescue service of Shirak marz received an alert call about the discovery of ammunition in the military commission building basement of Gyumri. It was found during the garbage collecting activity. The police and the Russian military base #102 were also informed about the mines found in the basement. According to the Head of the Rescue Department of Shirak marz, Andranik Poghosyan at 4:00 p.m. the department and the police undertook the activity to evacuate people from the zone. The mine experts of the Russian base arrived to disarm the mines. In the result of these activities one mine, one war bomb and a cannon shell were found.
