On August 25, the general public prosecutor of Lori region, Albert Ghazaryan was killed on his way back from work not far from his house. The criminal investigation department of the RA general public prosecutor’s office has instituted legal proceedings, and the investigation works of the place of murder and conditions have been conducted by a group led by RA deputy general public prosecutor Mnatsakan Sargsyan. The investigation works are directly controlled by RA general public prosecutor Aghvan Hovsepyan. Yesterday the spokesman of the general public prosecutor’s office informed that the general public prosecutor had left his vacation and returned to Armenia. Yesterday A.Hovsepyan and Serzh Sargsyan left for Vanadzor to participate in the funeral of A.Ghazaryan. As for the citizens of Vanadzor, they say this murder is connected with a number of criminal cases launched by the public prosecutor’s office.
